Homes Inc. Package Limited Warranty
Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc. warrants that all materials
supplied are above standard and of quality grade. Any defective
material will be repaired or replaced at Canadalog & Hybrid Timber
Homes Inc. discretion without charge upon written notice within six
months of delivery. No warranty applies for checking, twisting or
warping of the wood, which would be considered as natural
characteristics of the wood.
Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes
Inc. does not express or imply any warranty on any component or part
in its package supplied by another manufacturer. These component
parts are warranted by the manufacturer. No warranty covers, and Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc.
shall have no liability for any cost or expense of any labor,
material refinishing, associated with the installation, removal
or replacement of the defective product or component, the
building contractor or their agent.
For replacement, any shortage of the materials list must be
reported in writing to Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc.
within 7 days of delivery of package.

Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc. Air Infiltration Warranty
For a period of 10 years, Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc.
warrants to the original purchaser that the log
wall system shall not leak air providing that:
-
The log walls were erected according to the plans specification
and construction
manual as provided by Canadalog & Hybrid Timber Homes Inc. and all
gaskets, caulking and thru-bolt systems were
properly installed and no substitutions were made.
-
The purchaser must maintain the exterior of the log building by
applying stain/UV
protector so as not to allow deterioration of the wood of wood
joints by the element of
weather and sun conditions. The purchaser must keep all
invoices/contracts to prove the
Maintenance of his log building.
-
No provision is made herein for air leakage through doors,
windows, vents
or other openings. No provision is made for air infiltration through
any other opening
than the log wall assembly.

Frank and Staff of Paragon Homes,
Monika and I would like
to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to you
and the staff at Paragon Homes in helping make our dream
home a reality. As we have found in the past year, building
a custom home can be an intimidating yet rewarding
experience. Thanks to you and your staff, we managed to
build our dream home on schedule with relatively few
setbacks.
We are very happy with
having selected the Paragon Kit Home Package to supply much
of the materials for our build. Everything provided, lumber,
windows, interior/exterior doors, shingles, aluminum, etc.
have all been of the highest quality without a doubt. In
order to have our house completed on schedule it was
important to have the materials on site when the trades were
ready to work. Paragon was able to make sure that the
materials arrived just in time for the trades. True to your
word, if there wasn’t enough material on site, our site
manager, Dan Bergeron made sure it was delivered so that
there was no down time for the trades.
In addition to the
Paragon Kit, good Project Management (PM) was also a key to
our successful build. At the tendering stage, Paragon
provided recommendations as to which trades have worked well
in the past and which have not. In addition, having the
flexibility to invite and select trades that came from our
personal references was an important feature of the PM
experience that one does not get with most builders. The PM
method also worked well for us in that we had complete
control over who gets paid and when.
Finally, to give credit
where credit is due; through-out the construction process,
we had the opportunity to work with a site manager who
sincerely cares about his clients and takes pride in the
work that he does. Dan Bergeron is truly a stand-up guy who
handles every situation in an honest and professional
manner. From scheduling and inspection, to the occasional
conflict resolution, Dan provided a service greater than our
original expectations of a project manager.

Nicole, Ben and Dan, thank-you for all that you did to make
this home a reality for us.
